Before You Buy a Patio Fan

- Look for a damp rating under a fully covered patio and a wet rating anywhere rain or a sprinkler can reach
- Check that there is an existing box and wiring at the spot, since we do not run new wiring
- Measure the height under an aluminum patio cover, because many are lower than the ceilings inside
- Ask your park or HOA if they have rules for exterior fixtures
